While artificial grass requires very little maintenance, it is still outside and susceptible to the elements. While there is no need to mow, weed, or fertilize, you do still need to actively keep the grass clean. Just like with everything else associated with artificial grass in Fort Lauderdale, keeping synthetic grass clean is relatively easy. Let’s take a look at a few ways that you can do that.
Just like it would with natural grass, artificial grass can collect dirt, leaves, and other types of debris and items that tend to get caught in the grass. Cleaning all this is quite easy though. For larger items such as leaves simply use a leaf blower or rake to get rid of those larger items. For smaller things like dirt or even pet waste, spraying down the grass with some water will do the trick.
While dealing with stains isn’t typically an issue with natural grass, it can be with synthetic grass. Have no fear though, cleanup of stains is easy as well. After removing as much of the stain as possible by blotting it, you can then use a special solution to finish removing the stain. Even the special solution is easy to make! All you need to do is mix a teaspoon of water with a pint of detergent. Simply put the solution on what is left of the stain and rub it in until it comes out.
