Synthetic Golf Green Maintenance
Like natural grass your artificial surface needs to be maintained to protect your investment, promote longevity, and keep your synthetic golf green looking and performing as pristine as the day it was installed. Being exposed to the elements over time can cause the surface to become faster than you may like, or it may also collect debris making the ball roll not quite as true as when it was installed. All of these are very natural and to be expected that’s why Southwest Greens of Florida recommends a routine Maintenance regiment of at least once a year for your golf green. We feel this regular attention will not only prolong the life of your green it will keep you on top of your game.
Maintenance Service Options
Synthetic Grass Lawns & Playgrounds
The Preferred Member Maintenance Program is for two service visits per year, renewed annually and includes additional benefits. One Time service visit is just that…based upon request and scheduled based on availability

Blow off and pickup heavy debris on turf surface
Brush out fine debris in turf and stand up (fluff) the turf fibers
Minor seam repairs to any seams that may have separated*
Minor sink hole or depression repairs*
Pull any weeds or organic plant growth that may be present
Add silica sand (up to 5 @ 50 lbs bags/visit)
Spray turf with outdoor bleach to kill presence of mold, mildew or odors
Priority scheduling planned on a regular basis

Spray turf surfaces with outdoor bleach to kill presence of mold/mildew and prepare turf for cleaning
Brush all turf surfaces with power broom machines to remove fine debris
Minor seam repairs to any seams that may have separated*
Minor sink hole or depression repairs*
Pull any weeds or organic plant growth that may be present
Add silica sand to fringe turf collar as needed
Top dress putting green with Wonderfill Green sand infill and brush in evenly
Roll putting green with power roller and check speed on stimp meter
New putting green flags replaced once per year
Replace any broken or damaged putting green cups
Priority scheduling planned on a regular basis
